FUNCTION

Plan, schedule, and manage Yorkville’s operations to ensure production can meet or exceed all customer, quality, cost, and production metrics.

BACKGROUND

This position will report directly to a Production Manager. The Production Manager for Processing, Wrapping, and HIS all report to the Factory Director. The direct reports of the Team Leader are production associates within a specific operations area.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and within established cost factors.
Recommend and implement changes in methods, equipment, systems and organization, as needed, to assure that the objectives of the area are met.
Deliver requirements by influencing and gaining co-operation from other departments (Engineering, Quality, and Scheduling/Logistics).
Proactively manage associate relation issues – training, development, and motivation of associates following team working principles with a minimum degree of guidance from the Production Managers.
Drive Associate engagement through a foundation of teamwork and involvement.
Provide leadership, support, and guidance to manufacturing and other support teams and ensure key performance measures, goals, objectives, and accountability are consistently achieved.
Develop, prioritize, implement, and manage plans for effective and efficient use of materials, machine operations, and human resources.
Be a champion for all TPM initiatives and take lead on providing recommendations to contribute for AM step progression.
Ensure company safety and health practices are maintained and practiced by all personnel.
Assist in the training and development of Operations Department personnel to ensure a high quality workforce.
Review and analyze production, quality, maintenance, and operations reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operations or production proble.
During off-shifts, may manage, lead, control situations, or incidents that affect multiple departments or the entire fact.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

An undergraduate degree or equivalent, preferably in one of the Engineering, basic sciences or business related disciplines is highly desirable.

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide support to residents and their families in coping with placement in a long-term care facility. Be the understanding, helpful and caring person they turn to at this difficult time. Perform assessment at admission; update as needed. Responsibilities:
Perform assessment of the resident at admission, upon change of condition and/or annually; create, review and update care plan and progress notes
Provide direct psychosocial intervention
Assist resident’s family in coping with placement in a skilled nursing facility, physical illness, disabilities of the resident, and the grieving process
Coordinate resident visits with outside services – dental, optical, etc.
Work with the resident, family and other team members to plan discharge”
Conduct in-service programs to educate staff regarding psychosocial issues and resident rights
Supervise and guide Social Services Assistants
Attend and document resident counsel meetings

FUNCTION

BACKGROUND

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and within established cost factors.
Recommend and implement changes in methods, equipment, systems and organization, as needed, to assure that the objectives of the area are met.
Deliver requirements by influencing and gaining co-operation from other departments (Engineering, Quality, and Scheduling/Logistics).
Proactively manage associate relation issues – training, development, and motivation of associates following team working principles with a minimum degree of guidance from the Production Managers.

Provide leadership, support, and guidance to manufacturing and other support teams and ensure key performance measures, goals, objectives, and accountability are consistently achieved.
Develop, prioritize, implement, and manage plans for effective and efficient use of materials, machine operations, and human resources.
Be a champion for all TPM initiatives and take lead on providing recommendations to contribute for AM step progression.
Ensure company safety and health practices are maintained and practiced by all personnel.
Assist in the training and development of Operations Department personnel to ensure a high quality workforce.
Review and analyze production, quality, maintenance, and operations reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operations or production problems.
During off-shifts, may manage, lead, control situations, or incidents that affect multiple departments or the entire factory.
Perform other special assignments as requested by Production Managers or members of Yorkville Leadership Team.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:
•         An undergraduate degree or equivalent, preferably in one of the Engineering, basic sciences or business related disciplines is highly desirable.
•         3 years experience in a Production/business experience.
•         Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
•         Ability to convey communications clearly and concisely
•         Understanding of major functions within the plant and the ability to work directly with all levels and functions.
